Next week is Shark Week and we shall be celebrating in style with our Shark Party Printable!
Our first version of this fun printable was a mermaid tail, which we made for Red Ted Art.
My kids and I had so much fun with it that we decided we just had to make a shark for
shark week! We’ll be reading shark books, this one is one of our favorites, doing some
shark crafts and finding some shark movies to sit down and make good use of our
popcorn holders.
We hope you enjoy them! Enter your name and email below to sign up to our fun
newsletter, filled with creative crafts and our latest printables, and I’ll send the you our
Shark Party Printable Popcorn Holder as a gift. (say that 3 times fast!)

SHARK PARTY PRINTABLE, THE HOW TO:
1. Cut out your shark tail and fin.
2. Next, cut the dotted line on the tail, and fin, which you can see in the picture below.
3. Now use a craft knife to cut the dotted line in the middle of the tail, this is where the
fin will go.
4. Take your fin and push it through the underside of the tail until it pops out through
the top.
5. Now fold and tape the 2 tabs down, folding 1 in one direction and the 2nd in the other
direction.
6. Next it’s time to fold it into a cone. Before you do this I recommend having some tape
close by since you’ll need to tape it right after. We found the best way to make the cone
was to fold the part that you just cut (with the dotted line) under the other side. Get the
shape you want then grab a piece of tape.
7. Tape down the bottom of the cone first, to the backside of the tail. Then tape up the
sides. I just used 1 piece of tape in the middle.
8. Finally trim any excess off the top of the cone, and fold some tape over the seam.
You’re done! Fill with popcorn and enjoy!
